Tavern — Quest Master
Talk to the Barkeeper to open your quest journal. Choose from personal Daily, Weekly, and Story quests, inspect their objectives and rewards, then accept a task you want to complete. Rewards use coins and Minecraft XP, separate from character-level XP.

Choosing a quest:
Quest type | Personal choices | Progression |
|---|---|---|
Daily | Three rotating offers. | One active Daily at a time. |
Weekly | Two rotating offers. | One active Weekly at a time. |
Story | The next available chapter. | Twelve chapters in order. |
Daily and Weekly slots are independent, so you can work on one of each. The catalogue contains 120 Daily and 24 Weekly definitions; those are the full pools, not all the offers shown to one player.
Read every objective and minimum level before accepting. Select an accepted quest to track. displays the tracker and hides it without abandoning the quest. A multi-objective quest requires all its tasks to be completed.
What counts toward progress:
Dungeon objectives can ask you to win runs, defeat mobs, mine custom ores, open loot chests, or explore distinct rooms. A named mob or chest type matters: a Ranged Miner is not a Miner Tank, and an Ascension chest is not an Armory chest.
Mining quests require mining the requested custom ores inside a dungeon. Room exploration counts distinct rooms once per run; corridors do not count. Completing a run is different from entering and leaving early. Check the journal's counters to confirm progress.
For NPC actions, speak to the named NPC or use the requested delivery/commission interaction. Buying an unrelated shop item does not complete that story step.
Rewards and reset times:
Daily base rewards range from 180–350 coins and 40–75 Minecraft XP. Weekly base rewards range from 1,400–2,200 coins and 300–480 Minecraft XP. The offered repeatable reward can vary by ±15%, so the actual offer gives your final amount.
Daily offers rotate at the next local day; Weekly offers rotate on Monday, using Europe/Amsterdam. Follow the journal countdown for the current reset. Accepted repeatable quests have a 30-day repeat exclusion before that same quest is offered again.
Rewards are delivered automatically after recorded completion. Pending means delivery is processing. Staff review needed means contact staff with the quest and completion details; do not treat it as an instruction to pay or complete the same finished task again.
Replacing an unaccepted offer:
An Oblivion Emblem replaces an unaccepted offer: one emblem for a Daily, or two for a Weekly. An accepted quest cannot be rerolled. Replacement is unavailable in the last hour before reset, and another eligible offer must remain in the pool.
Oblivion Emblems can be obtained through eligible daily rewards or crafted using the recipe below. Make one emblem at a player Crafting Table.
Story chapters:
The story follows the Barkeeper, Mage, Lost Traveller, Blacksmith, Alchemist, Gravekeeper, and Auctioneer. Your saved chapter decides the next step; it is separate from tutorial practice and repeatable quests.

Story base rewards rise from 200 coins and 40 Minecraft XP to 3,000 coins and 1,000 Minecraft XP. The journal displays the chapter's exact reward and required interactions. Commission and delivery steps must be completed through the named quest action.
If a counter remains unchanged, confirm the correct ore, mob, chest, or room and report the quest, server, and time. See Ores and Dungeons for those gameplay systems.
